CW Doppler assessment of tricuspid regurgitant. Apical four-chamber view. Severe TR. In severe TR, the continuous wave Doppler signal of the regurgitant jet is truncated, triangular and intense. The peak velocity of TR allows the estimation of pulmonary pressure.
